Phishing:

Before entering your password on the CityNET Website:

  • always make sure that your PassMark image and phrase are displayed and are the ones you chose during enrollment

If you recall when you first enrolled in CityNET, you were asked to choose a personalized image and a phrase. By having your chosen PassMark image and phrase displayed, you know that you are at a valid CityNET Website.

On the other hand, if you do not see your PassMark image and phrase, you probably are at a fraudulent Website. These fraudulent Websites are created to steal your username and password for financial gain.

Please note:

  • City National Bank will never ask for your username or password in an email.
  • City National Bank will also never place a hyperlink within the email that would direct you to the CityNET site.
